Web design & development has obviously evolved over the past few years. Design has ranged everywhere from flat simple graphics to bubbly, shiny buttons. Development has moved from loading new pages to javascript/ajax driven pages, increasing the ease of use. But now it appears we have to take step back when it comes to our mobile phones. If your company hasn't at least thought about doing some sort of development on a phone, then you are probably still stuck in the past a bit. Welcome to the future. Although we are surrounded by tons of different mobile phones, from the tasty iPhone to the open source G1, how does design and development meet the needs of so many phones?

If one hasn’t heard the word Twitter in the past year or so then they have probably been living under a rock. Twitter is the next trendy fad in the wave of social media that is devouring people’s lives update by update. That alone prompts another question that leaves people scratching their heads yet again, what is social media? What does this mean? What does it do? What’s it all about? This will all be addressed in due time, as well as what the actual meaning of Twitter really is, and what is it used for? Some question if it can it be used by someone other than fourteen-year-old girls Tweeting about the new High School Musical movie, or can it actually provide something of real worth?

Let's face it. Even in a tough economic downfall, there still seems to be that niche that never seems to feel the blow. Web design and development has been one of the biggest booming markets for the past 10 years. Keeping up with the functionality, look, and feel of today's sites is tough though, so how do you stand out from the 20 other impostors of your company out there?
